CEMATRIX Cellular concrete:

  • provides cost-effective solutions.
  • accelerates construction schedules.
  • reduces on site work force requirements.
  • typically has a density that is one-quarter that of ordinary soil, or one-quarter that of gravel.
  • can be used as backfill to prevent settlement of overlying roadways, or structures; in areas with peat, muskeg, compressible soils and unconsolidated fill.
  • owing to its monolithic nature, provides superior load-spreading ability compared to particulate materials, such as gravel.
  • replaces pit run gravel at a 3:1 ratio. In other words, 200mm of cellular concrete provides the equivalent support as 600mm of pit run gravel.
